In order to commemorate Aşık Veysel throughout the country and abroad, it was decided by the Presidential Circular that 2023 will be the "Year of Aşık Veysel".

In this context, the Deanship of the Faculty of Fine Arts of our University, the Directorate of Çanakkale Ceramics Research, Development and Application Center, the Directorate of Handicrafts Research and Application Center and the Directorate of Turkish and Foreign Language Teaching Application and Research Center have been contacted to organize a commemoration and promotion event for Aşık Veysel among the units of our University. A stakeholder meeting was held at the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts on 01.12.2023 to come together and create an event program.
