A commemoration event for Aşık Veysel was held, featuring presentations and demonstrations of our culturally significant ceramic and marbling arts.

In 2022, Aşık Veysel was honored with the Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Prize in the category of "Loyalty." Additionally, to commemorate the artist nationally and internationally, it was decided by Presidential Decree that the year 2023 would be designated as "Aşık Veysel Year."

As part of the commemoration program for the 50th anniversary of Aşık Veysel's passing, a workshop titled "Language of the Earth" Ceramic and Marbling Workshop was held at the ÇASEM Ceramic Atelier with students from TÖMER. During the workshop process, which was conducted in collaboration with GSF, TÖMER, ÇASEM, and ESAM stakeholders, a ceramic panel inspired by Aşık Veysel was created.

As part of the Aşık Veysel commemoration program, on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 13:00 to 17:00, a presentation and demonstration of our culturally significant ceramic and marbling arts were held at the ÇASEM Ceramic Atelier.

A quatrain from the poems of Aşık Veysel was transformed into a permanent artwork by TÖMER students through a ceramic panel project.

In the marbling workshop, TÖMER students produced colorful works reflecting the dance of colors on water, a significant part of Turkish culture, through marbling techniques.
